The Vision
Having undertaken several previous golf projects, developer Steve Henke envisioned a club unlike anything he’d previously built. Red Stag, located in a rural area outside of Indianapolis, will include a Tom Fazio-designed 18 hole course ready to hold championships from opening. A club with a national membership, amenities include a short course, best in class practice facilities and cottages for members and their guests.

Henke
A visionary developer in the Indianapolis area for more than four decades, Steve is noted for his vision and expertise on a myriad of projects, from highly successful golf clubs like The Club at Chatham Hills, The Club at Holliday Farms, as well as incredible community projects like the Grand Park Sports Campus. Born and raised in southern Indiana, Steve is an Indiana University grad and a noted attorney.

THE DESIGNER

Fazio
Without question Tom Fazio is recognized as one of the most legendary figures in American golf over the last century. He started at the age of 17 under his uncle, George, eventually launching his own firm and creating many of the best golf courses in North America, including Shadow Creek, Quail Hollow, as well as consulting to courses like Augusta National. He currently has 11 courses in the Top 100 in the U.S., according to Golf Digest. Red Stag is his second design in Indiiana.
